Richard Parbery   FCPA

Richard Parbery is the Managing Partner of this very successful regional accounting practice. He is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, a Registered Company Auditor, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor, Registered Tax Agent, External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales and a Justice of the Peace NSW.

Richard has over 40 years experience in all aspects of accounting, taxation and audit work.

Richard is also on the Board of a major local public company further enhancing his experience in finance and commercial activity.

 

Michelle Russell B Bus (Acc) B Soc.Sci (Econ)

Michelle works in our Bega and Merimbula offices. Michelle is a Tax Practitioner with over 20 years experience in the Accounting and taxation industry, with various firms both here and overseas. Michelle prepares Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS statements, Capital Gains Tax, Superannuation and provides general advice and has been with Kellow Parbery and Associates since 2003.

Michelle completed a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Economics. She worked for several years in Sydney for a construction company, 2 years with the Department of Finance in Canberra before returning to Bega, entering the Accounting profession, and completing her degree in Bachelor of Business (Accounting). Michelle is a Justice of the Peace NSW.

 

Ricquel Morgan B. Comm (Acc), CPA

Ricquel joined Kellow Parbery Accountants in 2006, and works in each of our three offices.

She is a member of our audit team and also prepares financial statements, personal and business income tax returns, business activity statements, and self managed superannuation funds.

Ricquel completed her Commerce degree at the University of Wollongong’s Bega Campus.

She is a member of the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) of Australia, a Registered Tax Agent, an External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales and holds a Public Practice Licence.

 

Sharon Cartwright B Acc, CPA

Sharon joined the Kellow Parbery team in 2014, prior to this she worked in the Canberra area for 20 years, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge in commercial accounting and trust accounts. Sharon has worked extensively in a variety of industries including small business, large scale property development, construction, and real estate.

Sharon is a Certified Practitioner of Australia (CPA) with a Bachelor of Accounting from University of South Australia.

 

Sharon is permanently based in our Eden Office, where she provides support to our clients. Sharon prepares financial statements, personal and business income tax returns, self managed super funds, GST and business activity statements, capital gains tax and is also a member of our audit team.

 

Laura Lanham B Bus, CPA

Laura works between our Bega, Eden and Merimbula offices on a part-time basis having retired from full time employment in December 2014. Laura is experienced with preparation of financial statements and Income Tax returns for individuals and other structures and entities, GST & BAS statements, capital gains tax, superannuation and general tax advice.

Laura has in excess of 13 years experience in the accounting and taxation industry. She has a Bachelor of Business and is a CPA.

 

Sanne Stewart, CA, MSc

Sanne Stewart is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Registered Tax Agent, an External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales and a Justice of the Peace NSW, with over 17 years of experience in Taxation and Business Advisory Services, Management and Cost Accounting. She holds a Certificate of Public Practice.

She has completed a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, a Masters in Science, Diploma in Financial Planning and is, as a Xero Certified Advisor and Reckon Accredited Partner, our Cloud Accounting guru. Through the use of cloud solutions she is dedicated to build stronger relationships with business owners and pro-actively help our clients achieve their compliance obligations/lodgements and grow their businesses.

Sanne has strong analytical and problem solving skills and has a passion to help business owners understand their business data and numbers and provide solutions to assist them to make well informed decisions.

Outside the office she is raising 5 beautiful children and enjoying life on a farm in the gorgeous Bega Valley.

 

Suwei Liang, M Acc, CPA

Suwei commenced work in Kellow Parbery Accountants from early 2016. She has 5 years experience in preparation of individual and small business Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and financial reports. She also has experience in accounting of non-for-profit organisations.

Suwei was a commercial accountant with over 15 years with experience in hospitality and trade industries oversea before moving to Australia.

Suwei completed her Master degree in Professional Accounting in University of Technology, Sydney in 2010 and she is a member of CPA Australia.

 

Janelle Thomas

Janelle is based in our Bega Office and is the accounts and payroll manager she has been with the firm for over 14 years and is a Justice of the Peace.

Janelle has had over 30 years experience working in taxation and accounting offices. She ensures the compliance and day to day administrative management of all three offices as well as assisting partners in initial preparation of financial statements, business activity statements and audits when required.

 

Karen Cuzner

Karen manages our Bega Office and assists in the administrative of our Merimbula and Eden offices. Karen also assists in initial preparation of BAS and Income Tax returns and is a member of our audit team and is a Justice of the Peace NSW.

Karen ensures compliance with the strict requirements of the Australian Securities & Investment Commission on behalf of our corporate clients.

Karen has been with the Kellow Parbery team since 2007 and had 12 years previous experience in the banking industry and 4 years in retail industry.

 

Lynette Rootsey

Lynette is currently the Receptionist at our Merimbula Office. Although one of the newest members to the team she has many years experience in administrative roles and retail while also working in facility aged care and home care.

Lynette has worked in a broad range of industries with the most recent being in the Property Management Team at a local Real Estate Agent in Merimbula and now hopes to incorporate her skills into her position with Kellow Parbery & Associates.

 

Tracey Goodheart

Tracey is currently the receptionist at our Bega Office.  She has 30 years administrative experience, previously working for financial institutions and a local Survey/Valuation firm for 17 years as Office Manager and Personal Assistant.  Her computer knowledge and friendly helpful personality is an asset to Kellow Parbery & Associates.

 

Julie Went

Julie manages our Merimbula Office. She undertakes the administrative duties associated with the office, as well as being responsible for our Banklink Accounting Software of the firm. Julie assists in the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax, BAS returns and is a member of our audit team.

Julie has been with the Kellow Parbery team since 2007 and had 17 years previous experience in the banking industry with lending and supervisory roles.

 

Jess Smith

Jess works at both our Merimbula and Eden offices.  Jess assists in the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax, BAS returns, administrative duties associated with the office and is a member of our audit team.  Jess is studying part-time for her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). She has 5 years experience in finance (accounts and payroll) working with MYOB and other payroll programs. Jess started with Kellow Parbery in 2014.

 

Linda Koote

Linda manages our Eden Office. She undertakes the administrative duties associated with the office as well as being responsible for our Banklink Clients of the firm. Linda has been with the Kellow Parbery team since 2014 and had 30 years previous experience in bookkeeping with various companies, providing her with a broad range of skills and experience.
