Richard Parbery (28-02-1949 to 25-01-2025)
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Richard Parbery, the founding Director of Kellow Parbery & Associates Pty Ltd. Over the course of his 50-year career in accounting, taxation, and audit, Richard became a cornerstone of the Bega Valley community, dedicating himself to helping businesses and families navigate their financial and taxation needs.
As the Managing Partner of this highly successful rural accounting practice, Richard not only led with expertise but also generously passed on his vast knowledge to his staff, ensuring his legacy of excellence continues.
He was a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, a Registered Company Auditor, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor, Registered Tax Agent, External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales, and a Justice of the Peace NSW. His dedication extended beyond his firm, having also served on the Board of a major local public company, further strengthening his experience in finance and commercial activity.
His profound impact on the profession and the community lives on through those he mentored and inspired.
Ricquel Morgan – CPA, Managing Director
Ricquel joined Kellow Parbery & Associates in 2006 and, in January 2025, was appointed Managing Director of the firm. With a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and membership with CPA Australia, Ricquel brings extensive experience and leadership to this successful regional accounting practice.
She is also a Registered Tax Agent, a registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor, an External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales, and holds a Public Practice Licence.
As Managing Director, Ricquel is committed to providing personalised, approachable service and takes great pride in helping her clients achieve their financial and business goals.
Julie Went – Accounting Support
Julie has been a valued member of the Kellow Parbery team since 2007 and supports clients across both our Bega and Merimbula offices.
She is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and business activity statements, and is experienced in accounting software including MYOB, Xero and Reckon. Julie also provides ongoing support to clients in resolving accounting and software-related matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Julie spent 17 years in the banking industry in lending and supervisory roles. This experience provides her with a strong financial background that further enhances the support she delivers to our clients.
Wendy Hodges – Accountant
Wendy recently joined the team at Kellow Parbery and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
With more than 25 years of experience in the accounting industry, Wendy has developed extensive knowledge in preparing financial statements, personal and business income tax returns, and business activity statements.
Wendy’s practical experience and long-standing involvement in the profession make her a valuable addition to the team and a trusted support for our clients.
Yojana Poudel – Accountant
Yojana recently joined the Kellow Parbery team and brings with her nearly nine years of international accounting experience, together with more than two years of professional experience in Australia.
Yojana holds a Master of Professional Accounting, completed in Sydney, and has developed a strong focus on taxation. Her experience across international markets and within Australia has provided her with a broad understanding of both global and Australian accounting practices.
With strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and a global perspective gained through her experience, Yojana provides valuable support to the firm and its clients.
Michelle Douch – Bookkeeper
Michelle joined Kellow Parbery & Associates in 2019, bringing over 25 years of experience in administrative and financial roles. She holds a Certificate IV in Accounting and Finance as well as a Certificate IV in Office Administration.
Michelle plays a key role in supporting the preparation of income tax and BAS returns, managing a variety of bookkeeping functions, and overseeing the firm’s accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll operations.
Michelle is also the firm’s Compliance Manager, responsible for overseeing the firm’s Quality Management System and compliance obligations, including Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF). In this role, she supports the development and implementation of the firm’s compliance frameworks and ensures alignment with regulatory and professional standards.
Steph Delaney – Receptionist
Steph joined Kellow Parbery & Associates in 2025 and is based in our Merimbula office. She holds a Diploma of Business Administration and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
Steph supports the preparation of income tax and BAS returns, manages a range of bookkeeping functions, and assists with payroll processing for our clients. She also provides administrative support and assists corporate clients in meeting the compliance requirements of the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC).
Steph’s positive approach and attention to detail make her a valuable support to both the team and our clients.
Kate Egerton – Receptionist
Kate brings a warm and approachable presence to our Bega office as the receptionist at Kellow Parbery and Associates. With over 14 years of experience as a hairdresser, she has developed a natural ability to connect with people and ensure clients feel welcome and valued.
Kate’s strong communication skills, attention to detail, and genuine passion for helping others make her a valued member of our team. In addition to greeting clients and managing front desk responsibilities, she provides administrative support and assists the team with a range of bookkeeping and tax-related tasks.
Kate is committed to ensuring every client interaction is friendly, professional, and positive.
Jodi Harris – Receptionist
Jodi recently joined Kellow Parbery & Associates as the receptionist in our Merimbula office, bringing over 30 years of experience in administration and accounts roles.
With her extensive background in office administration and financial record-keeping, Jodi plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the office. In addition to welcoming clients and managing front desk responsibilities, she assists the team with a range of bookkeeping and tax-related tasks and provides valuable administrative support across the practice.
Jodi’s strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and friendly approach ensure clients receive a professional and welcoming experience when visiting or contacting our office.
