Richard Parbery (28-02-1949 to 25-01-2025)
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Richard Parbery, the founding Director of Kellow Parbery & Associates Pty Ltd. Over the course of his 50-year career in accounting, taxation, and audit, Richard became a cornerstone of the Bega Valley community, dedicating himself to helping businesses and families navigate their financial and taxation needs.
As the Managing Partner of this highly successful rural accounting practice, Richard not only led with expertise but also generously passed on his vast knowledge to his staff, ensuring his legacy of excellence continues.
He was a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, a Registered Company Auditor, Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor, Registered Tax Agent, External Examiner for The Law Society of New South Wales, and a Justice of the Peace NSW. His dedication extended beyond his firm, having also served on the Board of a major local public company, further strengthening his experience in finance and commercial activity.
His profound impact on the profession and the community lives on through those he mentored and inspired.
